NEW PATIENT CONSULTATION (Daxxify and Xeomin)

  • Treatment time: 30 minutes
  • A $50 deposit is required. The deposit will go towards your treatment. Same-day treatment can be performed if time permits.

This consultation allows an opportunity to discuss your concerns and goals with one of our medical injectors. A treatment plan should be developed in conjunction with the patient and practitioner to maintain safe practice, shared decision making, and patient centered treatment.

At iCare Medical Clinic, we offer FDA-approved neurotoxin treatments. Botulinum toxins help decrease the look of the natural aging process.

The mechanism of action of botulinum toxin is to cause temporary muscle paralysis through inhibiting the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from motor nerve terminals. This prevents muscular contraction and hence creates the desired cosmetic effects.

Those with a known hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin type A or to any of its’ excipients e.g. human albumin, and sodium chloride, neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis or Eaton Lambert Syndrome, pregnancy or breast feeding, and < 18 years old.

Cautions for patients on anticoagulants, aspirin, vitamin E, chloroquine, calcium antagonists. This increased risk of bruising due to the effect of blood thinners.

Redness, swelling, and bruising can occur even among the most skilled injectors.

Results vary but visible improvement within a few days after the treatment, with full effects of neurotoxin appearing within two weeks.

The results of neurotoxin treatments typically last 3 months.
